Your Role:

Reporting to the Embedded Maintenance Team Lead, this key position within the Embedded Maintenance Team is responsible for the planning, execution and certification of surface finishing activities on KC-30A and components. You will also be accountable for:

• Plan, perform and certify for maintenance tasks whilst assisting to identify manpower, spares, tooling and facility requirements
• Work as part of an allocated team and deliver serviceable aircraft on time and within budget
• Continuously audit tools, FOD and aeronautical product control
• Report and follow up major defects and publication deficiencies in accordance with MMP instructions
• Help in reviewing and defining project scope and identify budget and resource requirements
• Monitor allocated team and resources and report on project/task outcomes on time and within budget

About you:

You’re a qualified tradesperson with a passion for aviation maintenance and a commitment to precision and safety.

• The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1
• Cert III or equivalent in Aeroskills (Aircraft Surface Finish)
• Professional and personal qualities to enable representational duties and direct customer contact.
• Knowledge/experience in DASA and CASA regulatory environment.
• Thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications
• Professional and personal qualities to enable direct customer contact
• Demonstrated knowledge in securing Engineering approvals
