Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Consultant to join our dynamic team at DXC Technology. The Security Consultant will play a critical role in assessing, designing, and implementing comprehensive security solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Assessment and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate existing security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Design and implement robust security architectures and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Deploy and configure security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and encryption tools.
  • Integrate security solutions into existing client infrastructure and applications.
  • Incident Response and Management:
  • Develop and execute incident response plans, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Perform forensic analysis and root cause investigation following security incidents.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to minimize security vulnerabilities.
  • Client Engagement and Advisory:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert guidance on best practices.
  • Deliver security awareness training and workshops to client staff.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of DXC’s security services and methodologies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a security consulting role, with a track record of successfully delivering security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of security automation and orchestration.
