IT Project Manager

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading the successful implementation of IT projects, with on Cyber-related projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead te planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with approved Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Assess risk and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report project financials to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and testers, to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements, and change requests.
  • Serve as mentor/coach to existing and potential future project leaders and provide training on tools and methodologies as needed

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Seven (7) years of IT project management experience in a private, public or military environment.
  • Five (5) years of Cybersecurity experience.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • PMP® Certified, or equivalent
  • Ability to speak to all levels in a professional, concise manner
  • Self-starter / self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Experience directing vendor resources
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Work location: Remote eligible

Travel:  May include up to 10% Domestic / International

Relocation Assistance:  Not authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
