About the role:
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced people for a Support Services Assistant – Housekeeping positions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join St Vincent’s Private Hospital (SVPHT)
As the Support Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
About the hospital:
St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Toowoomba is an acute medical and surgical hospital that includes services such as general surgery, specialist surgery such as orthopaedic, vascular, ENT, urology, plastics, breast, gynaecology, obstetrics and oncology. The General medical service includes diabetes, wound, cardiology and a private emergency medicine service

Things that work for us:
The successful applicant must have experience in the hospitality industry within housekeeping.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet required deadlines.
Have good attention to detail
Ability to take on diverse roles within the Support Services Department.
Have excellent customer service skills.
Willing to work both am and pm shifts on a 7 day rotating roster.
Ability to be flexible with rosters as some weekend work is involved.
