POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Claim Admin is people responsible for performing the administrative duties related to insurance claims. They provide support to the claims department by uploading file documents, issuing payments, and servicing internal and external customers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create tow request with outside vendor ensuring vehicles are moved timely, process towing and advance charges invoices and issue payments.
  • Importing and ordering police reports for active claim, claim forms, medical bills or subrogation files to document management system, on all existing claims.
  • Data entry of new losses due to correspondence received.
  • Reviewing incoming document types and assigning appropriately releasing by priority level in document management system.
  • Provide callers with information, documents, and status relevant to an existing claim
  • Other responsibilities as needed within the claim’s department.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Organization and time management skills
  • High School Diploma or higher preferred
  • Basic or proficiency computer skills to include Microsoft Suite products and web-based applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS: 

  • Excellent communication skills with individuals from all backgrounds
  • Exercise discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently after completing a comprehensive training and development period.

The range for this position is $15.82 - $26.35 per hour. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
