Job Summary

Mid-level creative professional who takes increasing ownership of design projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role balances hands-on execution with creative ideation, ensuring that visual outputs consistently align with brand standards and positioning designers to expand their skills and portfolio. Contributes to a variety of projects across different channels, including print, packaging, website, digital and campaign.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually compelling and on-brand designs across various digital and print touch points
  • Design conceptual directions for marketing pitches, developing visually compelling ideas that align with brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Work closely with copywriters and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and messaging in all creative assets.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all materials and platforms.
  • Create and refine design assets such as icons, illustrations, photography, typography and layouts that enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Support video and social media content creation to enhance brand storytelling.
  • Design and manage pitch decks and PowerPoint presentations with a keen eye for layout, clarity and engagement.
  • Work within tight time frames and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality work.
  • Present design concepts and provide compelling pitches to stakeholders, explaining design decisions and how they align with business needs.
  • Work within existing design systems while contributing to their evolution to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and innovation.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Copilot to enhance design processes and manage daily tasks.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in visual design, preferably agency or in-house design team setting
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, collateral, packaging, digital assets and presentations.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Marketo or Sketch.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UI/UX design is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and composition.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines while maintaining high design standards.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines while bringing fresh and creative ideas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch creative work to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience in video or social media is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$63,960.00 - $92,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
