Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to guide and support a production team in the assembly of commercial air handling units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations to ensure timely and accurate production of commercial air handling units.
• Train, organize, and motivate team members to meet performance and quality goals.
• Provide feedback on team member performance to support evaluations and development.
• Oversee task completion to ensure alignment with specifications, standards, and deadlines.
• Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure team members are properly assigned and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
• Assess staffing needs based on workload and coordinate with other department leads as needed.
• Demonstrate urgency and proactive problem-solving in addressing production or personnel issues.
• Maintain a strong understanding of product specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and enforce all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Uphold the company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure and interpreting basic measurements.
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems, gather data, and implement effective solutions.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, with advanced knowledge of air handling unit production processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Execute daily production schedules and assign tasks to team members.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely task completion.
• Identify and address employee relations issues, escalating when necessary.
• Enforce plant policies, conduct safety inspections, and ensure PPE compliance.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to standard industrial conditions; reasonable accommodations available.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands for handling materials and tools.
• Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Visual requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
