We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager based in India to support our US‑based Finance organization. This role will serve as a strategic extension of the US FP&A leadership team, owning complex financial analysis, planning support, and executive‑ready reporting, while driving data integrity and process improvement across systems.

This is a hands‑on manager role, requiring deep individual contribution, high independence, and strong judgment. While people management may be limited initially, the role carries manager‑level ownership, decision‑making, and accountability, including end‑to‑end responsibility for key deliverables and stakeholder outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong FP&A fundamentals, consulting‑style problem solving, and the ability to operate effectively across time zones with minimal oversight.

A strong understanding of software and SaaS business models is required, including familiarity with KPIs such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), recurring vs. non‑recurring revenue streams, and customer lifecycle metrics. Additionally, this role requires the ability to analyze and interpret SaaS financial performance, support forecasting and reporting tied to subscription‑based revenue,

Key Responsibilities

Strategic FP&A & Business Partnership

  • Act as a primary FP&A partner to US‑based finance leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Update monthly reports for business unit reporting and review support.
  • Execute complex financial analyses related to performance management and business planning.
  • Provide insight‑driven recommendations, not just reporting, to support executive decision‑making.

Reporting, Data Governance & Quality Ownership

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of management reporting, executive presentations, and dashboards.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of financial data across multiple systems and sources.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies, structural issues, and process gaps.
  • Establish standards, controls, and documentation to improve reliability and scalability of FP&A outputs.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex analytical, modeling, or data challenges.
  • Apply structured problem‑solving techniques to ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Partner with upstream data owners and systems teams to drive root‑cause resolution, not workarounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CA, CFA strongly preferred).
  • 7–12 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting US or global stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience Power BI preferred
  • Strong financial modeling capability.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver senior‑level outputs.
  • Interpret ratios and other financial metrics, and create excel or Power BI databooks and dashboards (dynamic PL).
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver senior‑level outputs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in management consulting, Big 4 advisory, or finance transformation roles.
  • Experience in a Global Capability Center (GCC) or global shared services model with elevated ownership.
  • Exposure to planning and reporting tools (Power BI, Alteryx), experience with SAP is a plus
  • Track record of influencing decisions without formal authority.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Master's degree in Finance or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Required: 7+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.

  • Preferred: Experience with financial planning and analysis and team leadership.

  • Certifications:

  • Required: None

  • Preferred: Financial certification (e.g., CFA, CPA)

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in an office environment and perform tasks that may require sitting, standing, and using office equipment.
