The Colonial Group is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Inside Sales to join our team in Greensboro, NC!

This can be a remote from home opportunity.

Primary function is to handle inbound/outbound phone calls to Quote/Bind new business policies in multiple states for a variety of Personal Lines products

using several rating platforms. Goal is to provide best options for risk placement to our agency partners & policy holders.

 

Essential Duties & Functions

· Navigate through several rating systems simultaneously in order to achieve best coverage and rate solutions for our agents and their clients

· Track monthly production to reach Quote, Bind Ratio and Premium Goals

· Assist Field Sales to Follow-up on Select Sales Opportunities discovered during Outside Sales Visits

· Meet/Exceed the Monthly Quote, Bind Ratio and Premium Goals Established for the Instant Quote Team

· Answer 20 – 30 New Business Quoting/Binding calls per day

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Required: High school diploma, Previous one year experience in the insurance industry, MS Office Suite proficiency & Property/Casualty and Surplus

Lines License

· Preferred: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or Financial related discipline

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis

· Indoor Office Requirement with Moderate to High Noise Levels

· Manual Dexterity, Arm & Upper Body Range of Motion Sufficient for use of a Keyboard, mouse & Telephone 7-8 Hours per Day

· Speech & Hearing Sufficient for Telephone Communication 7-8 Hours per Day

· Vision sufficient for use of multiple computer monitors

· Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day
