Converter Market Sales Specialist – Tapes and Adhesives - Nordic Region (m/f/x)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Converter Market Sales Specialist for the Tapes and Adhesives Division for the North Europe Region you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
The Converter Market Sales Specialist is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across assigned converter accounts. This role works closely with converters, cross-functional sales teams within the Industrial Tapes and Adhesives Division (IATD), and partner teams across sister divisions to identify, develop, and capture new business opportunities.
This position is ideal for a highly experienced sales professional with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, a strong understanding of the converter and specification-driven market, and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex value chains.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading profitable growth across assigned converter accounts through strategic account management, Joint Business Planning, and promotion of the full 3M portfolio.
Implementing sales and growth strategies that expand share of wallet within existing converter accounts and unlock new business opportunities with converters and end users.
Determining priority opportunities through effective pipeline management, market analysis, customer insights, and disciplined forecasting to support business objectives.
Supporting projects from concept development through qualification, commercialization, and final delivery to ensure successful customer outcomes.
Communicating differentiated technical and commercial value propositions through impactful customer discussions that accelerate opportunity conversion.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Application Engineering, Portfolio, and sister divisions to deliver effective and timely customer solutions.
Promoting a high-performance, customer-focused culture through strong commercial acumen, accountability, leadership, and sharing of market intelligence and competitive insights.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
Significant experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management.
Proven success driving sales growth and managing complex customer relationships.
Strong communication, influencing, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent sales planning, execution, and opportunity management capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Commercially astute with solid business and financial acumen.
Agile and results-oriented, with the ability to navigate complex markets and supply chains.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
Valid driver’s license required.
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience working with converted 3M product portfolios and application-based solutions.
Experience selling tape solutions within converter markets
Job specifics:
Remote-based role, ideally located in Sweden, with approximately 50% travel across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
