Job Description:

Summary: General Purpose:

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain product flow to meet customer requirements. This 
includes scheduling procurement and manufacturing activities for an assigned product group and reviewing key 
material flow parameters—such as order quantities, lot sizes, cycle frequencies, and replenishment intervals—to 
recommend optimal levels that support business and customer needs. 
 
The position also manages raw material and semi-finished goods inventory buffers, monitors capacity 
requirements, and tracks service levels for both special and stock orders. In addition, the role continuously 
enhances planning and scheduling processes, identifying opportunities to improve customer service, reduce 
inventory investment, and increase overall supply chain efficiency, and actively contributes to the implementation 
of these improvements. 
 
The supervisor provides guidance as needed and is consulted on complex issues or major adjustments to supply 
chain parameters. 
 
The selected candidate will be reporting to the 3M GSC Philippines office.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational & Technical Execution :
    • Manage simple to moderately complex purchase requisition and purchase order activities for assigned countries or regions.
    • Convert PRs to POs in SAP and Legacy systems, troubleshoot PR-to-PO issues, and maintain accurate PO updates (e.g., quantities, delivery dates).
    • Monitor open POs and PO acknowledgments, follow up on delays, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Create and manage production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and operational capabilities.
    • Monitor and adjust schedules to address demand changes, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges.
    • Perform tasks in accordance with defined Forecast-to-Schedule procedures, corporate guidelines, and SOX controls.

  • Forecasting, Planning & Analysis :
    • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
    • Gather and analyze data with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
    • Generate reports and simple analytics to support planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
    • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance forecasting, scheduling, and operational efficiency.

  • Issue Resolution & Risk Management :
    • Resolve simple to moderately complex issues and exceptions in accordance with established guidelines.
    • Address inquiries from suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
    • Support audit-related activities by providing necessary documentation or clarification.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the forecasting, planning, and procurement processes.
    • Coordinate activities across teams using email, meetings, and other communication channels with accuracy and critical thinking.
    • Ensure tasks are completed within SLA targets by following up on delays and coordinating required actions.

  • Training, Transition & Continuous Improvement :
    • Participate in transition activities, including pre- and post-deployment support.
    • Train new hires in the same role or functional area.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes, tools, and workflow efficiency.

  • Professionalism, Compliance & Work Flexibility :
    • Adhere to corporate policies, standards, and business rules, ensuring full compliance in all assigned tasks.
    • Perform administrative tasks and other job-related responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader or Operations Manager.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in work schedules (APAC, EMEA, USAC) and take on tasks based on business needs.
    • Amenable to render overtime to meet urgent requirements.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex data sets.
  • High attention to detail and experience with operational processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/SAP or FTS tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, manage workload efficiently, and train or guide others.
  • Experience working across multiple organizations, countries, or business functions is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Supply Chain or related functional areas.
  • 1–2 years of experience in FTS transactional activities, or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain; experience in Pricing is an advantage.
  • Experience in forecasting, scheduling, or other analytical roles.
  • Familiarity with sourcing principles.
  • Knowledge of ERP/SAP and FTS tools; prior hands-on SAP experience is an advantage.
