The College of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medical Center seeks applicants for Veterinary Customer Service Specialists with the Small Animal Reception team. This opening is a full-time position (40 hours/week) on first shift including evenings and weekends. Evening and weekend hours will be eligible for shift differential. Holidays are required and are based on a team rotation. A background check is required prior to the start date. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to provide excellent front-line client services to support clients, customers, clinicians, and care-giving colleagues. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Hiring Range: $17.00 - $21.77
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Standing for long periods of time. Exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases. Exposure to needle sticks, hazardous chemicals, and/or bio hazardous waste. Requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
