Principal Product Manager, Tech, Sponsored Search
About the Team
As a part of Advertiser experience team for Sponsored Search Ads team, you’ll build industry defining ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey.

We are looking for Principal Product Manager of Sponsored Search Ads Platform to help reimagine the way we help Marketplace Sellers to create, optimize and report on their advertising campaign, and achieve great results in line with their marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining the vision for the future of Sponsored Search Ads for Marketplace Sellers, fleshing out the roadmap and driving 0‑to‑1 product launches, in collaboration with a cross-functional team including Engineering, UX Design, Product Analytics, Product Marketing, Research, Marketplace and others.

You have deep knowledge and experience in Digital or Retail Media Advertising (Paid Search, Sponsored Products)

You’ll make an impact by:
Developing the vision, strategy and roadmap for your products, leveraging your domain expertise, research and analytics, focusing on capturing top market opportunities and addressing advertiser needs and pain points
Provide thought leadership on best practices to drive product adoption, business and advertiser performance
Rallying cross-functional stakeholders – including Engineering, UX Design, Product Marketing, Product Analytics – behind your vision, influencing without authority and gaining commitment from key partners to deliver on your roadmap
Partnering with Walmart retail teams such as Marketplace teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients
Driving product lifecycle, including ideation, consumer research, competitive intelligence, quantitative analysis, requirements definition, target setting, technical specifications, development, testing, and post-launch efforts
Leading conversations with Engineering on solution design, UX Design on user experience, Product Analytics on performance and target setting, Research on user needs and pain points, Product Marketing on go-to-market plans, and other stakeholders as needed
Ensuring fluid communication with senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders and peers, adapting your communication style to the audience and crafting your message accordingly
Being nimble and pragmatic, willing to update your plans and requirements as new information becomes available or priorities shift
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and
4+ years of experience in Ad-Tech or Mar-Tech, with focus on Performance Marketing, Sponsored, Products, Sponsored Search
9+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Analytics, Data Science or comparable work experience
7+ years of experience in driving end-to-end product delivery, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, scoping and prioritizing technical requirements
7+ years of experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, UX Design, Analytics, Marketing to achieve alignment on product requirements, launch and go-to-market plans
Excellent oral and written communication and story-telling skills, proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and leadership without authority
Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy and translate it into a prioritized roadmap
Sound business acumen, demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous, open-ended problems
Execution rigor, proven project management skills and ability to thin through end-to-end operations

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
