What You Will Do:

  • Assist Guidehouse’s public sector teams with full lifecycle contract administration including but not limited to:
    • Reviewing solicitations to identify potential risks
    • Assisting in proposal development
    • Examining, analyzing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
    • Revising contract modifications and proposals
    • Contract administration to include ensuring compliance with the contract requirements and close out of US Government contracts and subcontracts
  • Professionals at Guidehouse may be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet related eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Responsible for performing critical contract formation and administration of contract functions.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4+ years of prior relevant experience OR 8+ years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions with NDA, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts and Prime Contracts.
  • Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator.
  • Experience working with GSA and GWACs contracts as well as large and complex Federal Government contracts.
  • Experience with government contract close-outs and responds to request for information in the possession of government contracts department.
  • Knowledge of compliance management with contract terms, conditions, and regulations.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with government contract close-outs and responds to request for information in the possession of the government contracts department.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently within a fast-paced environment, including a proven record of success with the following:
    • Effective customer service orientation and organization skills while paying close attention to detail.
    • Utilization of proactive listening and interpersonal skills to maintain a high level of productivity in an environment that places high priority upon success-driven teamwork.
    • Verbal and written communications expressed in a clear and concise manner, including the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite to draft and review documents, analyze data, and prepare related presentations.
