Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring smooth operation and minimal disruption. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and a commitment to maintaining system integrity and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of system issues and maintain service quality.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Back Office Workflows.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining critical business applications to ensure high availability.
- Familiarity with system integration and troubleshooting within financial software environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
