Job Description:
Reporting to the AVP TDS VMO, the primary accountabilities of the role include leading the team that oversees multiple strategic, high-profile and/or enterprise vendor relationships/categories across TD Securities' global businesses.

Explore and deliver leading edge innovation and process improvements and to create a 'learning' organization through leadership, coaching and guidance
Drive a one TD approach to managing vendor relationships by working with other vendor management offices, internal partners (Legal, Sourcing, Contracts, TPRM, Risk Partners) and business partners to ensure contracts and agreements maximize value, meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, mitigate risks and meet the TD policies and standards; coordinate Expense Approval processes
Facilitate all phases of the Third-Party Risk Management Lifecycle, and ensure compliance with TPRM Policy, Standard and Framework
Accountable and responsible for monitoring vendor risk and performance via SLAs, compliance monitoring plans and governance routines to maximize customer satisfaction and mitigate risk
Accountable and responsible for risk and issue management, escalating and tracking vendor issues per TPRM Issue management requirements, partnering with the business to drive remediation plans on non-performing metrics or issues
Ensure strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, and their commercial implications to the business to effectively manage vendor agreement(s) and relationship(s) and ensure adherence to contractual requirements
Collect/Review/Assess audit documentations (i.e. SSAE16, SOC I/II, SIG) and determine next steps for remediation of gaps
Ensure organized storage of evidence of all activities for audit readiness
Ensure timely response to and satisfactory results for Internal and External audit requests
Ensure strong understanding of the Bank's vendor management tools including SAP Ariba and Coupa Risk
Accountable for the quality of advice and support provided to the business and achievement of the lines of business overall objectives in relation to the vendor
Lead the development and implementation of and proactive strategies and tactics in managing issues and relationships
Deal with a range of complex issues and policies in the management of the vendor(s)
Job Requirements :
Demonstrated relationship building, people management and leadership skills with the proven to ability to ability to work effectively with stakeholders/partners at all levels
Strong team player, collaborates across Global teams, encourages team members to participate and contribute and acknowledges the contributions of others
Strong analytical skills; demonstrated capacity for fact-based problem solving and leveraging data to drive insight
Capacity for operating with both strategic, and execution-driven focus
Strong project management, organization and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines
Excellent documentation skills; understands the importance of organized evidence storage to ensure audit readiness
Previous Vendor Management experience & working knowledge of the procurement/TPRM processes and tools (SAP Ariba/Coupa Risk) is a strong asset
Financial industry experience and knowledge of capital markets is preferred
