Your role

  • Define global strategic marketing frameworks and standards

  • Build and structure Strategic Product Marketing teams across categories

  • Set strategic direction for positioning and communication

  • Ensure alignment between category strategy and marketing execution

  • Oversee campaign strategy development across categories

  • Drive insight integration and strategic decision-making

  • Review marketing performance and define improvement actions

  • Develop talent and organisational capability

The Head of Global Strategic Product Marketing is responsible for building, leading, and continuously developing a horizontal Strategic Product Marketing organisation that serves all product categories across the business. This role establishes and owns the strategic marketing capability, ensuring that all product categories — including spectacle lenses, vision care solutions, myopia management, and ZEISS Eyewear — are supported with world-class strategic marketing that drives demand, adoption, and profitable growth.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International business development , a related field. PhD advantageous.

  • Profound experience in product management (FMCG preferred) in multi‑market environments; experience in recommendation-driven categories advantageous combined with in-depth knowledge of the myopia landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities within the global eye care market.

  • Proven track record of successfully of driving business growth.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders including Country General Managers effectively.

  • Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural considerations in program implementation.

  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with various stakeholders, including markets, marketing, sales, R&D, and clinical teams to achieve overarching program objectives.

  • Ability to influence and engage with senior leadership and external partners effectively

  • Willingness to travel
