Responsibilities:
Inventory & Materials Management
Establish target inventory levels for packaging materials and consumables and release weekly materials to maintain required coverage for production schedules.
Coordinate with Production Scheduler, National Material Manager, and Supply Chain Manager to understand production implications, delisted products, and other inventory changes.
Ensure accuracy of physical and system inventories; investigate discrepancies and take corrective action. Perform monthly reconciliations in Oracle for packaging, brewing, and consumables.
Daily and weekly management of refillable bottle and keg bookings to support the weekly production schedule.
Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy to ensure correct material depletion.
Coordinate inter-company and contract brewing material shipments.
Source and negotiate purchase of unique brewing or packaging materials as required.
Provide feedback on material availability or overages and work with suppliers, schedulers, and buyers to adjust schedules.
Collaboration & Communication
Work with suppliers, operations, and purchasing teams to resolve packaging receipt issues, material defects, and line trials.
Communicate any supply issues to operations and other stakeholders promptly.
Collaborate with Finance to explain variances and ensure accurate reporting of material costs.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously evaluate processes to improve inventory management, maximize warehouse space, and minimize obsolescence.
Support adherence to quality and food safety standards.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business, Math, or related field. APICS CPIM designation or Professional Logistician designation considered an asset.
Minimum 3 years of related experience in supply chain, inventory, or materials planning.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel.
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
Understanding of inventory management principles and financial impacts of business decisions.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate material requirements, transactional discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Good communication skills to coordinate when issues arise.
Working Conditions
On-site, Monday to Friday
Overtime may be required approximately once per month.
