What You Will Do

  • You will be in-charge of all employees designated to your area within the plant

  • You will monitor competences for your team and develop area autonomy (training plan building, follow-up and training actions implementation)

  • You will ensure working standards are respected in your area during manufacturing / assembly (safety, work instructions, quality)

  • You will ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards

  • You will ensure enforcement of health, safety and environmental rules within your area

  • You will define work standards with the help of support functions

  • You will manage daily production

  • You will lead daily QRQC meetings with Safety, Quality, Labor Relations, and Maintenance

  • You will lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination

  • You will lead everyday Gemba activities with your team for “TOP 3 issues” review and  counter-measures review

  • You will lead and review action plans to improve production and manufacturing performance (actual and targets)

  • You will be responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and solving for products from your area

What You Should Have

  • You should have a Bachelor degree, but experience in lieu of education will be considered

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Production and / or Supply Chain as a Manager

  • You should have 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry 

  • You have experience as a Manager in a high-speed manufacturing environment
