What you’ll achieve

As an AI Security Solution Architect you will be a member of our internally facing, corporate Cybersecurity Security Architecture organization with responsibility for contributing significant security experience and technical skillset across a variety of projects and engagements. As a solution architect you will be considered a security and technical expert and will assist in the development and communication of authoritative security-focused policies, standards, guidelines, and control requirements. This role interacts with all levels of the organization, particularly within the Global Dell IT organization.  

You will:

• Provide clear guidance on AI security best practices, with emphasis on securing agentic AI systems, autonomous decision-making models, and multi-agent frameworks
• Advise on integration of Zero Trust principles into AI ecosystems, ensuring secure identity, access control, and trust boundaries for autonomous agents and their interactions
• Define security requirements while engaging directly with stakeholders within Dell’s Business Units and the Information Technology organizations to ensure products, services and solutions are designed to adhere to those requirements across Dell’s various environments
• Consult with internal customers like architects, developers, system engineers, project managers and more and provide practical consulting guidance in identifying and mitigating all security risks for the related infrastructure and application security
• Conduct comprehensive security architecture design reviews and technical assessments with a focus on AI security

Essential Requirements

• Proven success in securing AI/ML systems: model lifecycle, data pipelines, inference endpoints, and GenAI integrations.  
• Practical experience architecting security for large‑scale cloud applications and data platforms
• Executive‑ready communication, ability to influence cross‑functional teams, and mentor technologists
• 8+ years of experience in information security/cybersecurity with foundational knowledge of general application, cloud, and network security concepts
• Strong knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information security frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative and actionable manner

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Certification(s) – CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CCSP, GPEN, CEH or relevant along with good understanding & applied knowledge of NIST, ISO & related cybersecurity frameworks
• AI certifications preferred

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $143,000 to $185,000.
