Exciting FP&A Director position open to join the Platforms FP&A team supporting the Platform and Enterprise Product organization at FIS.  This role will support revenue and profitability goals as well as future business growth objectives, while managing a finance analyst.  You will manage budgeting, forecast, monthly close and reporting, as well as participate in product discussions, sales pipeline to revenue reporting, pricing strategies, new product or M&A modeling and analysis, and other ad-hoc support.

The Platform and Enterprise Product team is dedicated to evolving both our products and our modes of customer engagement for the dynamic financial services landscape. What you will be doing

This role is highly challenging, yet satisfying, and provides a fantastic opportunity to be part of the platform journey at FIS:   

  • Managing plan & forecast, supporting monthly accounting close, and reporting for revenue and directly related costs for either the Receivables & Payables or the Fintel (Financial Intelligence) businesses within Platforms.
  • Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and tracking key performance indicators to drive strategic input to improve the business.
  • Business partnering will include assisting with new product business cases, pricing, customer deal guidance, developing weekly and monthly reporting that provides meaningful and actionable insights for the Platforms team.
  • Will include evaluation of new products or M&A opportunities and related due diligence from time-to-time.
  • Direct management of a financial analyst and their daily activities and performance.
  • Will work in conjunction with other FP&A leaders of sub-segments of the Platform and Enterprise Product organization and report to Leader of Platforms and Corp G&A FP&A for collaborative support of Platforms function.

  • Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level internal clients
  • Ability to analyze business needs and determine related financial and reporting support necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and problem areas
  • Ability to effectively manage and delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 7 years of Corporate FP&A including 1-2 years in a Leadership role
  • Experience in a fast-paced fintech or other tech-focused environment
  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
  • Analytical and statistical examination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and its Google equivalents
  • Preferably experience with Hyperion and Oracle or similar financial reporting systems

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in financial services or technology companies highly desirable
  • Experience leading in fast paced innovate finance organization
  • Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
  • Knowledge of financial services industry or FinTechs
  • Knowledge and experience with receivables, payables or financial intelligence (KYC, etc) businesses
  • PowerBi experience beyond view-only user - build and advanced skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $197,700.00 - $332,140.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
