Position Summary

Master Scheduler is accountable to review and upgrade the Demand/Supply Balanced Plan generated by the IBP Supply Solver. This role sets the weekly supply plan through month 4, and acts as the interface between short term day to day production managed by detailed schedulers and 5-24 months horizon managed by supply planners.

Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila

The Role

  • Develops regional formulations and packaging Supply Plan for the 0-4 months horizon in weekly buckets.
  • Manage gaps and risks in the plan by identifying options not accounted for by the system, including coordinating with necessary stakeholders (e.g., expedited delivery, additional labor).
  • Use scenarios to evaluate alternate supply solutions as the planners develop a feasible procurement, production and materials distribution plan. Identify options for schedule optimization (cost, capacity, etc)
  • Evaluate options for non-productive inventory and implement the best proposal
  • Maintains close communication with Demand Planner to evaluate changes proposed through the exception process
  • Maintain the relevant master data for existing SKUs and create new master data (SKU Creation, Extension etc.). Support new product introduction by ensuring system preparedness
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize key Planning and Health Check Metrics relevant to MS role.
  • Lead monthly supply reviews, and weekly S&OE for the sub-regions. Maintain close communication with relevant stakeholders to confirm production plans, deviations from plans, and respond to unexpected events. Own and utilize KPIs to manage process and drive improvement
  • Collaborate with other F&P and AI planners to ensure timely availability of required products through effective Stock Transfer Order execution

The Candidate

  • BA/BS in business, logistics, supply chain, engineering or related fields.
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Materials management, including at least two years of planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to create effective interactions with multiple functional groups. Capable to facilitate meetings with appropriate stakeholders, such as manufacturing, procurement and/other planning members.
  • Good understanding of all supply chain elements, including manufacturing/sourcing strategies, demand planning, material planning and procurement, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, distribution, and customer service.
  • Experience in managing work using data and metrics.  
  • Result driven and self-starter.
  • Strong SAP/Excel knowledge and experience in advance planning tool.
  • Knowledge of formulations technology and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Adaptable to shifting work schedules and international time zone requirements.
