Materials Planner

Job Description

The Materials Planner is responsible for monitoring shipment progress, resolving order processing issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This role combines system-based shipment management using Oracle with hands-on support in warehouse operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Monitor shipment status and order progress using Oracle to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.

  • Investigate and resolve order processing delays, including compliance-related issues.

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and cross-functional internal teams to support timely and accurate shipments.

  • Use query tools to analyze shipping and order data, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement workflow enhancements to increase team efficiency.

  • Investigate shipment discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Provide hands-on assistance to the shipping team as time permits, including picking, packing, and order processing activities within Oracle.

  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation and support compliance with internal and external requirements.

  • Combination of office-based system work and warehouse floor activities.

  • Fast-paced operational setting with changing priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced shipping or warehouse environment.

  • Proficiency or experience working with Oracle or similar ERP/order management systems preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process consistency.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with warehouse and internal teams.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $63,244.34 USD to $85,565.87 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
