Fireman Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities Maintenance - Sat - Wed (3:30PM - 11:30PM)

This role is for nights/weekends Saturday to Wednesday 3:30PM - 11:30PM. In this role, this position requires strong building maintenance knowledge (HVAC/R, Electrical and Plumbing).

Preferred Criteria:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering degree 
• Previous High pressure steam experience 

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED /Trade School or specialty school.

• G71 Certificate of Fitness is required within three months of employment

• FDNY Certificate of Fitness P-98 Fuel Oil Piping and Bulk Storage required within 6 months of starting in role

• FDNY Certificate of Fitness A-35 Operate and Maintain Air Compressors required within 6 months of starting in role

• FDNY- Certificate of Fitness S-95 Supervision of Fire Alarms Systems required within 6 months of starting in role

• Basic computer literacy.

• Must be a competent mechanic and ability to perform demanding workload and to work rotating shifts.

$41.23-$43.96/Hourly
