About the Role

Reporting to the VP Finance Operations - Project Management Leader will assist in establishing the reporting and planning infrastructure for General Operating Expense (“GOE”) spend, both expense and cash.

Your Contribution

  • Ensure comprehensive end-to-end tracking of spend, both expense and cash, including clear linkage to quarterly financial statements

  • Analyze vendor-level spend and collaborate with FP&A Business Partners to develop vendor level planning capabilities including variances, trending analytics, updated forecasts and provide useful insights into demand management

  • Assist with building a demand management process with functional teams

  • Assist with the development of expense and cash forecasting for GOE

  • Build and develop Excel files with direct SAP BPC data pulls to efficiently update financial results and PowerPoint presentations for management reporting and expense analysis including commentary for key drivers

  • Monthly expense dashboard oversight and reconciliations to financials before releasing to management and Finance BPs

  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis as required to support management decision making

  • Coordination with personnel in FP&A, Procurement/Sourcing, Controllers, Treasury as necessary to develop quantitative analyses and presentations

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline

  • 5+years of experience within corporate finance and or within accounting/strategy

  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, BPC, Oracle and financial automation tools

  • Self-starter, quick-learner and flexible team-player

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail 

  • Effective written & oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management to accomplish objectives

For positions based in Connecticut and New Jersey the base salary range is $121,000-152,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
