Xylem is seeking a Product and Application Manager for our dewatering portfolio, ideally located at our Perth location.  The Product and Application Manager is responsible for providing product management, product marketing, and application expertise to enable and support our sales and service teams, to deliver on our promise to customers and drive profitable growth across Australia and New Zealand.

The role:

  • Planning and delivery of effective product launches; phase in phase out of inventory, building associated marketing resources and campaigns.
  • Maintaining oversight of market conditions and customer buying trends that influence product portfolio, modifying product strategy and offering to maximise benefits to clients and Xylem.
  • Responsible for both support and delivery of the Select, Configure, Price & Quote (SCPQ) tools and process to meet customer requirements, performance standards, and budgetary requirements
  • Enable and support sales to secure orders from pre-sales, delivery of orders, and after-sales support in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle and direct enquiries from customers via phone, email, and website.
  • Provide direct technical advice, training and support to customers and internal stakeholders. Promoting sales, rental, service, spare parts and project solutions to customers.
  • Lean in to support order management & technical sales teams, to ensure clean entry of select sales and purchase orders. Supporting and advising production and distribution teams of urgent and/or special delivery requirements, in line with Xylem policies to deliver on business and customer requirements.
  • Manages projects and processes to ensure on-time customer delivery.
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver the customer experience outcome required to deliver customer satisfaction.

 About you:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual with capacity for strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to analyse markets, anticipate future trends, and develop plans that align with our organizational goals. Tertiary qualification in engineering/ marketing or business (Highly desirable)
  • 5 years of industry experience such as prior experience in product management, sales support and/or on-site dewatering operational leadership.
  • Experience in business partnering and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
