The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

As an Item Operations Business Partner, As an Item Operations Business Partner, you will play a critical role in optimizing processes, managing resources, and fostering cross functional collaboration while advocating for Target's Unique Item Standards. 

Acting as a strategic liaison for Enterprise Item, you will ensure adherence to enterprise item policies and procedures.  You will focus on driving operational efficiency, maintaining high data quality, and resolving issues to support fast-paced business needs while mitigating risks related to defective items.  In this role, you will also build strong partnerships across Item and business teams. 

Your work will directly contribute to strengthening Target's enterprise item capabilities and enabling overall business success.

Responsibilities        

  • Partner with core item teams and merchandising partners to optimize efficiency and drive business capability by collaborating with core item, partner teams, and item process.

  • Ensuring adherence to Enterprise Item Policies and procedures with high standards for guest and data quality.

  • Effective root cause problem solving, resolving emergencies, and driving preventive solutions.

  • Maximize Item Operations Business team resources advocating for proper alignment of priorities.

  • Work with cross-functional partners to advise and advocate Item process and policies.

About you:

  • 4 year college degree

  • 3+ years of Merchandising, Inventory, Supply Chain

  • Strong presence, meeting management, and facilitation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse workforce at all levels and external vendors in a professional and thorough manner

  • Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills​

  • High level of initiative

  • Strong commitment to quality and productivity measurements and controls

  • High level of organizational skills, detail oriented

  • Proven ability to successfully lead a project and execute upon initiatives

Desired Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience working with Target Item Systems and processes

  • Previous experience working in Process/Operations

  • Previous experience driving cross functional projects

  • Proven project management experience

  • Experience working with international teams

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
