ESSENTIAL TASKS
• Contact insurance companies to identify issues related to unpaid claims, including review of insurance correspondence
• Ability to edit and resubmit claims to various insurances either electronically or by paper.
• Document activities in various systems in an efficient accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to write appeal letters, evaluate and secure the needed documentation from medical providers to justify medical necessity. • Consistently meet and attain required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Identify and report denial trends from payers.
• Perform other duties as required.
