Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Support and QA Lead to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of hands-on experience spanning L1 & L2 infrastructure support as well as functional and automation QA testing. This role requires a strong foundation in Python and SQL, experience or exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tools and proven leadership and managerial capabilities.

You will play a key role in ensuring robust system performance, driving quality assurance initiatives, and leading a team to deliver continuous improvement across both support and QA functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage QA & support teams to ensure timely resolution of infrastructure issues and high-quality software delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including incident management, root cause analysis, and execution of test plans and scripts.
• Implement and optimize ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and test cases using Python to support both infrastructure and QA needs.
• Utilize SQL for data validation, test data creation, and troubleshooting across systems.
• Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tools to automate support processes and facilitate knowledge base creation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and establish QA best practices within support operations.
• Analyze requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage while maintaining optimal system performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing status updates and reporting on incident and QA metrics.
• Provide regular updates and reporting on incident resolution, QA metrics, and process improvements to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive initiatives for process automation, knowledge base creation, and continuous improvement for both support and QA functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure support and QA testing roles.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and process optimization.
• Strong SQL skills for test data management and issue analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in both functional and automation QA testing.
• Proven leadership in managerial roles, with a track record of leading teams and delivering results.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as ITIL, ISTQB, or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest).
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and APIs, and experience in leveraging AI for operational efficiency.
