Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ’s and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s Business Jets.

Your Role

As Aerospace Engineer – Structures within our Special Purpose Aircraft team, you will:

  • Provide Aerospace related design, analysis and other technical support services
  • Process technical information, repair and modification designs to meet aircraft availability needs.
  • Mentor staff and help to establish the standardisation of process and analysis methods.
  • Develop compliance assessment reports for repairs and modifications.

About You

  • Qualified Engineer in an aviation related discipline with demonstrated experience as a professional engineer within the aviation industry.
  • Experience in using document/configuration management and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills is essential for success in this position.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standards framework and DASR Part 21J is highly desirable
