As an Associate Software Engineer at CVS Health, you'll play a crucial role in building and delivering high-quality software that enhances customer experiences. You'll be involved in all phases of software engineering, from requirements analysis to deployment, while adhering to agile software development methodologies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will: (hiring manager, please list approximately 5 core responsibilities)
· Build REST Apis and Streaming applications.
· Build Application UI using Javascript frameworks.
· Perform Code Reviews and mentor junior engineers.
· Deliver the software meeting various non-function/architectural requirements.

Required Qualifications
· Experience with:
o Designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
o One or more modern languages, such as Python, Java, Node.js, etc.
o Experience in front end development using React JS or Angular.
o Experience in utilizing SQL or Mongo QL.
Preferred Qualifications
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with complex systems and solving challenging analytical problems
· Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices
· Familiarity with different phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
· Formal SAFe and/or agile experience. Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field required.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$35.66 - $71.30This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
