The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solid Understanding of core JavaScript (ES6), Angular(16+), HTML5, CSS3 , CSS preprocessors like SaaS , Less etc. and Typescript
  • Understand the intricacies of DOM and have good knowledge over the APIs and their performance implications
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards
  • Strong knowledge of Frontend Architecture and System Design
  • Experience in UI design principles and frameworks
  • Ability to translate wireframes and mock-ups into polished component
  • Creative thinker with good problem solving skills

Qualifications:

  • 9-12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Good to Have skills:

Other JavaScript frameworks like VueJS, NextJS , React Backend technologies like Nodes JS, Java and Database basics Interest in designing UX interfaces using Figma and presenting to users to seek validation Experience using Version Control(Git) Knowledge of E2E testing frameworks

Frameworks and Tools:

Utilize front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and tools like gulp build, Karma, and Jasmine for unit testing.

Contribute to and improve DevOps tooling and processes

Code Quality:

Familiarity with build processes and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines for front-end projects Implement engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, test-driven development, and continuous integration to build highly scalable and secure applications Dedication to delivering high-quality, performant and reliable software. With emphasis on good state management patterns and component design patterns for re-usability and maintainability


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
