Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate or Mid-Level) (Level 2 or 3) to join our 737 Program Integration team in Renton, Washington!

The Supply Chain Analyst work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This position will support both factory and supply chain priorities as well.

In this role you will be working with a great team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders for wing products while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements. This role will also oversee new business activities. The team also develops process and efficiency improvements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers

  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Optimizes inventory levels

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

  • Investigates complex ordering conditions

  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies

  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • 1+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration, or Accounting preferred, but not required

Typical Education/Experience: 

Associate (Level 2)

Typically, 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range for associate level: $66,300-$89,700

Summary pay range for mid-level: $81,600-$110,400
