The National Centre for Advanced Integrated Photonics (NCAIP) is a new Centre funded by the National Research Foundation. The Centre aims to enable the translation of fundamental research ideas in quantum and topological photonics, opto-mechanics and new materials into technologies on the integrated photonics platforms on silicon, positioning Singapore at the forefront of the photonics industry of the future.

The Centre is looking for a self-driven Senior Programme Manager to coordinate the activities of the Centre including the planning of the Governing Board and Scientific Advisory Board Meetings, tracking the research outputs of the work packages, and engaging the industry partners to explore the translation of the technologies for used-case applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage the activities of the Centre such as the Governing Board Meetings, the Scientific Advisory Board Meetings, Industry Day, etc.

• Work with the National Semiconductor Technology and Innovation Centre to translate innovations from NCAIP to NSTIC

• Track yearly deliverables for NCAIP

• Liaise with the semiconductor related industry to ensure that the innovations within NCAIP is in line with industry trends and needs.

Job Requirements:

• Masters / PhD in Semiconductor or photonics related fields, with at least 10 years of relevant experience including industry experience

• Excellent negotiation, oral and written communication with excellent inter-personal skills

• Able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively

• Meticulous with strong planning & organizational skills

• Strong analytical and project management skills

• Able to work under tight deadlines, multi-task and work in a fast- moving environment

• Must be adept at reading complex research and license agreements; diagnosing complex business, interpersonal, and interorganisational issues

• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently, and in a team
