Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, your typical day involves developing custom software solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices, you will focus on delivering scalable and high-performing solutions that align with the objectives of the organization. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages with 3 to 6 years of experience. Develop REST Services using C# and .NET Core. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment). Design and build continuous integration and continuous delivery scripts using open-source platforms (Jenkins). Package applications using containers, cloud deployment, and cloud hosting with popular container orchestration frameworks. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Understand client needs and take responsibility for assigned tasks with minimal assistance. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages. - Develop REST Services using C# and .NET Core. - Design and build CI/CD scripts using Jenkins. - Package applications using containers, deploy and host in cloud environments. - Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture. - Investigate alternatives and technologies for continuous improvement and architectural review. - Prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines. - Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. - Understand client needs and deliver solutions with minimal assistance. - Maintain a good understanding of existing technical solutions and their implementation. - Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - .NET Framework, .NET Core, C# - ASP.NET, REST Services - SQL and NoSQL Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), Entity Migrations - Design/Architectural Patterns: Model-View-Controller (MVC) - Cloud Solutions Design, Deployment, and Migration - Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker - Web Application Deployment & Hosting - Architecture styles/APIs: REST, RPC - CI/CD Automation and Optimization - Version Control: GitHub, Bitbucket - Agile Methodologies - Troubleshooting and communication skills - Added Advantage: ReactJS fundamentals (JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle), AWS Cloud - SDLC lifecycle understanding, application architecture, middleware concepts, code quality frameworks - Automotive domain knowledge in after-sales processes (preferred) - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in .Net Full Stack Development. - Strong understanding of web development frameworks such as ASP.NET and Angular. - Experience with database management systems, including SQL Server and Entity Framework. - Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. - Knowledge of RESTful API design and development. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in .Net Full Stack Development. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
