Position Summary

The Estimator – Commercial HVAC is responsible for bringing commercial HVAC business to Armstrong Comfort.  The position’s priorities are to prospect for business, bid opportunities, win business, and support successful implementations.  Fit-out work, change-out work, and commercial maintenance agreements are all pursued by this position.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, initiate, and maintain professional relationships with owners, developers, GCs, suppliers, and others in support of being an effective HVAC estimator.
  • Develop comprehensive quotes for fit-out work (both plan & spec and design build).
  • Develop quotes for commercial maintenance agreements and related change-out projects.
  • Achieve annual sales targets for gross profit and revenue.
  • Provide support and assistance to ensure your sold projects complete on-time/on-scope.
  • Maintain a regular presence in the field with business contacts and installation crews.
  • Perform, with operations, monthly status updates for proposal activity and sold jobs.
  • Manage change order activity or similar sold project scope modifications with the customer.
  • Partner with our commercial plumbing department and HVAC service department to deliver complete proposals to prospects and comprehensive solutions to customers.
