Job Description & Qualifications

The Quality Release Officer is responsible for full audit of the electronic and paper-based Batch Manufacturing and Packaging documents and rapid release for packing of products manufactured and/or packed at Carole Park along with associated administrative duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To audit executed electronic and paper-based batch manufacturing and packaging documents in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and release bulk materials in SAP for packing as per the rapid release procedure
• Apply appropriate decision-making skills during review of batch and cleaning exceptions and exercise sound judgement to quality impacts
• Communicate effectively and provide status updates of current workloads to other department managers
• Support and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the Quality department and the wider business
• Ensure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standards
• Provide insight and apply creativity to challenging situations
• Plan, monitor and achieve goals within set time frames
• Provide, build and maintain consistent, reliable and accurate customer service

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a scientific field preferred.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment highly regarded.
• Ability to build rapport, establish and maintain relationships with peers, business contacts and corporate management
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines and targets with competing and conflicting priorities
• Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to comply with GxP
• Demonstrated attention to detail and extensive technical knowledge and ability is essential in this role
• Sound judgement and decision making skills
• Understanding of GMP requirements
