Meet the Team

We're the hidden hand guiding the intricate ballet of silicon production. We build, maintain, and optimize the software systems that orchestrate every step of the semiconductor manufacturing process, from wafer fabrication to final testing. We are looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer / Programmer to support semiconductor manufacturing systems and develop engineering and production software projects.  The position requires troubleshooting, engineering, project management, and software development skills. The ideal candidate should also expect to collaborate with the different functional teams focusing on Semiconductor Manufacturing, and may also work with Quality, Planning, Shipping, and other areas.

Responsibilities

  • New firmware development on test system communication with device under test and other interfaces communication like handlers, external instruments etc.

  • Test system/platform pre-production testing and debugging

  • Create or improve engineering tools used during product development

  • Develops software that integrates with OSAT MES systems.

  • Test system issues debugging and fixing reported from internal users and OSAT

  • Participate on specific challenges related to product test program development on the platform

  • Generate user documentation and provide training and guidance on usage to test developers or junior members

Skills You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering

  • Extensive experience developing in C and Python 3 with object-oriented programming experience

  • Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies

  • Consistently employ software best practices including:

    • Agile development

    • Revision control and peer review (Git preferred)

    • Linting / Unit testing

  • A focus on software quality and production stability is desired (writes code with the intention it will run 24-7 for 10 years or more)

  • Experience with embedded systems and firmware development

  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers etc.

  • Ability to create tests and troubleshoot/debug mixed signal/RF test systems, and software

  • Strong understanding and use of statistical data analysis

  • Comfortable developing in Linux environments

Bonus

  • Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) product security methodologies and techniques
  • Software security focus (understanding of PKI, certs, etc.)
  • Experience in test development with traditional test platforms (Teradyne, Advantest, Credence, etc.)
