Job Description​

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Infusion Clinic Float Pool team. This is a day shift position working 5, 8 hour shifts.

This position will float between all of our 4 main locations as well as our Liberty Clinic. These locations are at the Plaza, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City and Overland Park.

The Work:

  • In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  • Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
  • Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • This nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong time management, teamwork, communication and multi-tasking skills are important to be successful in this position.
  • Previous experience with infusion strongly preferred.

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Registered Nurse (MO) Multi-State - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)

Associate Degree - Nursing
