Job Description Summary:
Candidates must have recent previous OR RN experience of at least 1 year or more in an acute care hospital OR. Candidates without this experience must apply to the OR RN residency program, this includes those with previous bedside nursing experience in other areas like Med-Surg, Critical Care, ED, Women's Health.Responsibilities And Duties:
Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingAdditional Job Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree (BSN required at 5 years of employment)
Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio
BLS certification

This role requires a commitment to on-call hours. When on-call candidate must report within in 30 minutes. 30 minutes is a firm deadline and includes driving to the facility, parking, walking in, changing and reporting all within that time frame.
