What will you do in this role?

The Marketing Coordinator 2 is a mid-level position that involves more strategic involvement in the marketing activities of Oakwood Homes. This role is responsible for managing marketing campaigns, coordinating with various departments, and overseeing junior team members if applicable. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of marketing principles and experience within the homebuilding or real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and construction teams to develop marketing materials that effectively showcase our home communities.
  • Manage the production and distribution of marketing collateral, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
  • Develop and manage content for social media, email marketing, and the company’s website, focusing on lead generation and engagement.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize future campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage community events, open houses, and other promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Mentor and guide Marketing Coordinator 1, providing feedback and support.
  •  Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers, designers, and media outlets.

Campaign Coordination:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
  • Coordinate the logistics of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and compelling content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials.

Event Coordination:

  • Support the planning and executing events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

Digital Marketing Support:

  • Assist in managing digital marketing channels, including social media accounts and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in the homebuilding or real estate industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience with Canva preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual in person attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly

  • Expected Salary: $60,000-$70,000 Annual Salary - This position is eligible for additional performance incentives in the form of quarterly bonus opportunity.
