Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Looking for passionate Java/.Net developer for building the next generation of digital web applications for Bank of America Merrill retirement customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional,non-functional,and compliance requirements. These individuals possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge and experience of Java SDK, spring boot, rest services. Alternatively. Alternatively, Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in .Net Core, C#, and WCF services. Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.
  • Expertise in web technologies including ASP.Net, .Net MVC, client-side technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.
  • Experience in financial domain.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Self motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge on AngularJS, HandleBar.
  • Experience in financial domain is desirable.
  • Knowledge/ experience in CI/CD.
  • Knowledge/ experience on web accessibility (ADA) standards, implementation, validation and support.
