Fleet Engineer

Description -

Applies entry level on a variety of printer models for Remote Management Services. Works on problems of entry to moderate scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Services may include and are not limited to:

  • Firmware Management
  • Device reconfiguration
  • Device deployment
  • Device Decommissioning
  • Proactive and predictive hardware services
  • Password Management
  • Pull Print Solution Administration
  • Pull Print Solution Management
  • License Management

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully resolve technical issues (hardware and software) from incoming internal or external businesses and end user's contacts and proactive notification systems.
  • Respond to service, product, technical, and customer- relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement (warranty through mission-critical). .
  • Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence.
  • Evaluate unique or moderate installations or configurations and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Articulate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Engages team members for support and guidance as required to ensure internal or external business and end users/clients SLA demands are met.
  • Develop partnership with and assist the Sales Pursuit team.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years of working experience in related fields
  • We are looking for a recent graduate with desires of a technical career.
  • Basic Networking knowledge desired. (CCNA preferred)
  • Software and database creation/management is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Software and hardware knowledge of computing, storage, and peripheral devices is a plus.
  • Phone and remote support experience is a plus.
