Our teams operate at scale and at speed, translating strategy into durable systems and measurable outcomes. Together, we’re enhancing travel by creating a sense of belonging that keeps travelers connected and coming back.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross domain initiatives that sit at the intersection of technology delivery, execution discipline, and organizational effectiveness. You will be responsible for driving alignment from strategy through execution, bringing structure to ambiguity, clarity to priorities, and rigor to delivery.
This role requires a senior leader who can navigate both deep technical programs while also shaping our operating model and influencing stakeholders through new ways of working. You will have strong stakeholder managements skills and be comfortable working closely with engineering, product, data, and business leaders to ensure outcomes are delivered predictably and at scale.
In this role, you will:
Drive complex, cross-functional technical programs from definition through delivery, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and partner teams to achieve agreed business outcomes
Translate strategic objectives into clear, executable program plans with detailed scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics, and continuously manage risk, issues, and trade-offs
Lead coordination of multiple technical teams and services, facilitating architecture, system design, API design, and data modeling discussions to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions
Establish and run effective program operating rhythms, including governance, status, and decision forums, using data and metrics to provide clear visibility into program health and to influence stakeholders
Foster operational excellence by defining and driving standards for quality, reliability, security, and scalability across programs, including readiness, launch, and post-launch support processes
Apply familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, and safely integrate and operate AI/ML enabled solutions that improve outcomes across multiple domains and services
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with ownership across multiple services or domains, including end-to-end delivery accountability
Solid background working closely with software engineering teams on system design, low-level design, API design, and data modeling, with the ability to understand and challenge technical approaches
Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependency maps, risks, and trade-offs across organizations, using data and metrics to drive decisions and communicate program status and outcomes
Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products, including safely integrating and operating AI/ML enabled solutions that improve customer or business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving technical programs that operate at significant scale, with demanding reliability, performance, and security requirements across multiple services or platforms
Track record of influencing technical and architectural direction across teams or domains, facilitating decisions that balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural health
Demonstrated excellence in building and improving program management frameworks, operational processes, and metrics that raise the bar on execution quality and predictability across organizations
Experience applying AI/ML capabilities or AI-assisted tooling within complex technical programs to improve developer productivity, customer experiences, or operational efficiency, while ensuring safe and compliant usage aligned to organizational standards
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
