Position Summary


As a Sr Analyst, Financial Reporting & Analysis you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to support CVS/ABHIL’s strategic initiatives and meet regulatory reporting requirements. This role helps develop new reporting and analytic insights that identify and track strategic business opportunities as well as develop regulatory reports for the State of Illinois.

This role requires creation of regular and ad-hoc analyses that will help provide executive management with the data needed to make critical business decisions. The analyst in this position is expected to have a strong technical foundation as well as the ability to relay any findings to internal and external parties in a clear and concise manner. Project tasks range from sizing financial impact of projects and initiatives, providing ROI analyses, data validation, regulatory reporting, and various ad-hoc projects across multiple departments including service operations, medical management, medical economic unit, and compliance.

Responsibilities & Duties:

-Lead analyst for Scorable Action Items (SAIs) - sizing, validation, reporting, tracking progress

-Regulatory Reporting (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual)

-Ad Hoc data analytics and reporting

-Vendor Performance/Support

-Monthly FP&A reporting to ABHIL CEO, Central Division CEO, and Medicaid CEO

Required Qualifications

-3-5 years of experience working in a data warehouse environment (utilization metrics and/or claims experience)

-3+ years of SQL experience


Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of:

-Medicaid health insurance

-Healthcare datasets, healthcare analysis, and/or health economics

-KPIs: /1,000 metrics, ALOS, Unit Cost, MBR
-Strong knowledge of SQL and motivation to continue to use various solutions.


Education
Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
