Job Description:

Job Location:  Remotely from Poland/Hybrid

As a Junior Statutory Accountant, you will be a key member of the COE (Centre of Excellence) team in Poland supporting the Netherlands entities (Dutch language would be a plus but is not necessary). You will be working in close collaboration with the country lead and colleagues from different countries, so excellent English language is a must. The role is fully remote, with potential team meeting (quarterly at most), so a very good independence, self-motivation is essential.

The candidate will collaborate on the preparation recurring accounting entries, posting of treasury transactions, and prepare report from different systems, the role is part of the Dutch team controllership and will work directly with the local controller, below the main tasks but not limited to:

  • preparing recurring entries (accrual, posting of local bank entries)
  • month end report and download of data
  • analysis and queries variances during monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
  • help on responding to audit queries and investigate entries
  • Use of SAP and peripheric systems

Requirements:

  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of Dutch will be a plus
  • Some experience in any accountancy role will be a plus
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills and teamwork skills
  • Qualification in accountancy will be plus
