Key Account Manager for Strategic Development and Project Control with KazMunayGas:
strives to increase customer satisfaction, revenue and operating income from ALMTG activities,
effectively solves commercial and strategic issues, meeting customer needs,
within the framework of project control (such Projects as: HPU at POCR, completion of transition periods at AOR and POCR, Silleno project) ensures effective interaction with customers,
develops and coordinates the business plan and annual financial statements with all KMG departments.


 

The duties of the Employee is limited to below:

Block 1: Commercial Management and Development (70% of time)

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with client contact persons: KazMunayGas central office, relevant departments and KMG subsidiaries for which no key account managers are assigned in ALMTG.

  • Search for new opportunities for investment projects between ALMTG and KMG with the support of Business Development Managers.

  • Supporting key account managers of PNHZ, ANPZ, PKOP, KPI and Silleno in terms of developing and maintaining effective relationships.

  • Interaction with the KMG Investment Committee: preparation of materials on projects and participation in the IC, securing relevant KMG corporate approvals.

  • Development of commercial proposals and calculation of technical and economic scenarios (Excel) for changes in contracts between ALMTG and KMG enterprises.

  • Management of claims work and settlement of commercial disputes with KMG.

 

Block 2: Financial Control and Reporting for KMG (30% of time)

 
  • Annual preparation with the support of the ALMTG finance team and approval in KMG of the business plan and annual financial statements of ALMTG in KMG format.

  • Monitoring of actual costs for Projects and control over the targeted use of funds.

  • Preparation of reports for KMG upon request and participation in the preparation of reports for state bodies upon request regarding Projects. .

  • Updating financial models of completed projects on a semi-annual/annual basis.

 

3. Work with the relevant departments of KMG, and the Atyrau and Pavlodar Refineries to achieve personal objectives stated in the Clause “COMPLETION BONUS”.

4. On-time, high-quality and complete fulfillment of Manager`s assignments if they are connected with the job description

5. Personally comply with all corporate safety & compliance standards.

6. Air Liquide and contractor employees shall be directed to:

report unsafe situations,

stop work in case of an actual or suspected danger for safety or the environment,

stop others in case of an actual or suspected danger for safety or the environment,

suggest safety improvements.


 

Are you a MATCH? 


 

Profile: 

  • Bachelor's degree from Finance or Engineering

  • Change Management and contract administration / Negotiation skills / Financial modelling and basic knowledge of statistical and financial analysis methods and procedures / Contractual and Financial Risk Management.

  • Demonstrating knowledge of KMG financial and accounting principles and standards

  • Ability to interact with relevant departments of KMG

  • Able to simplify and synthesize complex documentations and invoices related to the technical field

  • First class influencing skills, able to convince audiences to adopt a different course of action

  • Be responsive to the line manager and a good team player

  • Communication skills with people

  • At least 5 years of experience in the relevant positions

  • English language C1 English (Advanced), demonstrated with a certificate from relevant authorities.
