Rehabilitation Aide – Department of Rehab Medicine - Days

As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of patient care in our dynamic outpatient rehabilitation and inpatient rehabilitation settings.  Assist in maintaining therapy areas by obtaining rehabilitation equipment, maintaining inventory of supplies and keeping areas tidy by returning treatment equipment to proper place.  Under the supervision of a rehabilitation therapist, you will observe patients in practice sessions and functional activities and assist with the care of patients of all ages and diagnoses. 

This is a full-time, day shift position working Tues-Sat 8:00AM - 4:00PM. This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. 

Preferred Criteria

• Six months' of patient-related experience in a hospital setting

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED

• Demonstrated interest in working with Rehabilitation Medicine patients

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional Customer Service skills with a desire to Put Patients First
