As Project Manager focused on sustaining projects and cost saving opportunities, you will ensure that our Patient Monitoring product portfolio remains safe, compliant, cost‑efficient, and reliable throughout its lifecycle. You will lead cross‑functional efforts that keep our products aligned with supplier availability, evolving regulatory standards, quality expectations, and market needs. Our patient monitoring systems are used daily in critical care environments across the world. Sustaining these products is essential to ensure continuity of care and long‑term product performance.
Your work will directly impact healthcare providers and patients by maintaining device availability, quality, and regulatory conformity across a large and diverse installed base. For this role, you are currently based in Finland and you will operate in a hybrid work model with minimum 3 days working on our site in Helsinki.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustaining engineering projects, including supplier transfers, component updates, cost‑out initiatives, and design maintenance changes;
- Manage project timelines, scope, budgets, risks, and cross‑functional deliverables across engineering, quality, regulatory, sourcing, and manufacturing;
- Drive regulatory‑driven updates (e.g., MDR, cybersecurity, labeling), ensuring complete and compliant DHF and risk‑management documentation;
- Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and decision‑making for product changes affecting the installed base;
- Oversee supplier and manufacturing changes, ensuring qualification, continuity of supply, and adherence to quality and manufacturability standards;
- Identify and implement cost‑out, productivity, and material‑savings opportunities without compromising safety, performance, or compliance;
- Act as the central project interface with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Service, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Product Management;
- Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and decisions clearly to global stakeholders and facilitate technical discussions and problem‑solving sessions.
Basic Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
- Several years of experience in project management, sustaining engineering, or operations within medical devices or other regulated industries;
- Proven ability to run medium‑complexity technical projects with cross‑functional stakeholders;
- Strong understanding of quality systems (e.g., ISO 13485), risk management, and regulated product change processes;
- Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives and work independently with accountability for results;
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills in English.
