The Senior Manager, Physical Security Systems will provide technical support and oversight on system installation of all physical security devices, systems, and components that Analog Devices utilizes across the world. This role will manage multiple security system projects, work closely with security integrators, develop a scope of work and project timelines, budgets, and collaboratively work on a cross functional team with Facilities, Real Estate, and IT. You will provide guidance related to design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all security systems ensuring compliance to Global Security standards.

Job Description:

  • Daily maintenance to the CCure 9000 Access Control Enterprise ensuring the access control, alarm monitoring, and badging systems remain operational.
  • Perform high-level administrative configuring of personnel, including queries, partitioning, privileges, import-export, auto import, partitioning, events topics, including those involving Intrusion Zones, Keypad Commands, reader LCD displays, and E-mail.
  • Perform iStar firmware updates and patches.
  • Perform access control panel transition from APC to iStar Ultra.
  • Perform video surveillance system transition from various VMS platforms to Genetec Enterprise VMS.
  • Monitor Network Video Recorders, review on-site capabilities, and troubleshoot and fix issues.
  • Manage and maintain servers that support physical security systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.
  • Oversee server configuration, patch management, and updates to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure system stability.
  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair door hardware to include maglocks and electrified lever sets.
  • Lead and manage projects related to security system upgrades, server implementations, and other infrastructure changes from inception to completion.
  • Prepare security system designs for each project ensuring equipment meet Global Security standards.
  • Manage relationships with security system vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee service level agreements to ensure quality and performance.
  • Perform commissioning and testing of security systems for acceptance. Run reports to review system is operational prior to go-live.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Work with the local Security Operations Center ensuring control room operators understand how to use and operate CCure 9000 access control system, can perform basic access control tasks such as badging, setting clearances, report generation, backup procedures, and Genetec VMS.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Certified CCure 9000 advanced system manager or CCure 9000 advanced integrator.
  • Working knowledge of various VMS applications such as Genetec, Exacqvision, and Victor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences or other studies relevant to this position.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in managing the operation and installation of physical security systems and software.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in semi-conductor or manufacturing environments.
  • Writing design specifications and standards, technical manuals and procedures, and project scope of work.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
